I need to figure out the best way to attack this.

Make a safe driving diesel

My friend and I have a collection of rangers.

87 4x2 2.9 + a4ld
84 4x4 2.8 + tk5?
83 4x2 2.2 + tk4

here are our choices...

Plan A
use the 83 diesel - 2.2 + tk4 (I am prepared to go 45mph :D)

sadly we have an 8inch section missing from the bottom of the frame behind the cab (bed is off.. can it be fixed safely)
*pics soon

plan B

convert my 87 gas ranger into a diesel (has an a4ld automatic... )

plan C

Convert the 84 4x4 into a diesel

Tell me what you think all the trucks are running and move under their own power.

Plan C. Swap it into the 84 and make a bitchin crawlin machine. Scrap the truck it's currently in...looks like you've got two trucks that are in pretty good shape.

how is this gay and a pug isnt?
he's not a pug, he is just the result of his mother being a drunk'n whore.

Not sure of what he really is kinda looks like a cross of a pug and a boxer, but act like a lab, great little bird dog he will go in to brush that labs wounld not think of. So ya not sure of anything other than his mother was a whore, But that what you get with a pound mutt.

Vote C.

Scrap the 83' Ranger. Keep the 87' Ranger as a daily driver.
