would it be better to back flush the cooling system with that prestone kit that you can buy or would using those cleaners in a bottle do a sufficient job?

I have always used Prestone chemical flush when I change the coolant every two to three years. I have never had a problem with over heating in hot dessert conditions while towing or in less sever conditions. I was near 200,000 miles on my last Ranger before I got a new one.

I don't think a back flush is needed unless the cooling system has been abused.
