Egr tube for 2.9

Does anyone have a egr tube or know where I can get one? Ford states it's no available anymore. I Found a tube for a 4.0 but not the 2.9. Let me know. :icon_confused:

If you ask your Ford dealer to search the other dealer inventories, they might be able to find one. My local dealer referred me to a place in Texas. It was either that, or one in New York. I may have actually gotten one of the last ones.

You might have to do some repair work on the one you have, or find one at a junkyard.

goto the junkyard and get a 88 computer, and take the egr out, ive never been able to find a replacement, and even when i could i didnt have the money to replace the manifold which it was siezed to aswell

anything past 88 should be non egr 2.9

So any computer from a automatic transmission bronco 2 will plug in and work? I noticed that Advance auto has about 4 different computers available for 1988 models that have a auto.

block off plate and computer for a 88, its all i would do, why mess with a additional system that ford took out in 88 anyways

I patched it up for now but I may take you up on the egr tube. It sure runs better now that its back together. Let me know when ones available. OhioJack
