Default 86 ranger high and low side connectors

just finished complete AC rebuild on my 97. Now going to change my 86 over too. I can't find the high and low side connectors like on the 97. Where are they? I used the Enviro Safe R12 R134A replacement. Works great my AC is 42 on these hot 110 degree Arizona days. On the 97 I replaced every part including the compressor. With new parts. Spent under 250$. Been working great for the last 3000 miles. It's the 86's turn now. Please help

Keep in mind the connectors will look different than the ones on the 97. R12 systems have smaller, threaded service ports. I believe the low side port is on the accumulator, same as the 97. The high side portis somewhere between the compressor and condenser. It might be on the compressor itself. You'll need service port adaptors if you only have R134a gauges.

Low pressure on top of dryer/accumulator.

The high pressure is on the line from the compresser to the condenser. Right after it goes over the radiator and makes a turn FWD to the condensor.

Great. Thank you. I bought the adapters going to service it after I replace the cylinder head on 97. Heater control valve broke in half on the freeway. Dropped a valve seat from the over heat.

Rangers. The fun never stops.
