So since I have a build thread going on a few other Ranger sites I thought I might as well bring my Mazda over here also!
It's an 06 B2300 with the 4 cylinder 2.3L, auto transmission, open diff with 4:10 gears. The truck came with basically no extra bells and whistles besides A/C(all that I need)
Here it is the day I bought it

That very next day I took off the cap(didn't think the mazda half step side style box looked good with it) and put on a tonneau cover from my dads ranger(he put a cap on his )
Next is the sound system which is not complete yet
Kenwood KDC-358U, Even just running off the 4 factory speakers sounds really good and can get VERY loud without distortion. The green matches at night
A Kicker 10" bassstation, defiantly won't rattle the cars next to you but overall I'm happy with it, 90% of the music i listen to is just rock so i don't need loads of bass. Only major downside to it is that I lost a lot of leg room
Last thing has been the tires, 30x9.5 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's, so far they have been have really good for me even in the snow without any weight in the bed, absolutely no rub for everyday driving and with my 4:10 gears I honestly haven't noticed a power difference, can still be civics in drag races
Dad's ranger
Not quite full flex but damn near close to it, tire was maybe half an inch from rubbing...needs a lift soon
I still have big plans for the truck
-2 inch lift, already got shackles(Belltech 6400's) but too cold to install them, and for the front I'm going to get longer coil springs, found some from "MaxTrac" that do a 2" for the 4 cylinder motor(anyone have any feedback on them?)
-Pro Comp Series 51 Rims, 15x8/3.75BS(if that will stick to far out let me know, kinda noob when it gets technical)
-Lock Right Locker
-New Rancho shocks to work with the lift
-Westin Safari light bar with some 6" lights
- Maybe the 60/40 seat mod
-Command Start
-Some kinda bed liner, just has a custom rubber mat as we speak
-Finish my audio setup
-New door speakers, probably JL, heard nothing but good from them
-2 channel amp for them
-Sound dampen the doors and maybe behind the sub, thing rattles the back center window piece like crazy
Basically just make this thing an awesome daily driver and a capable weekend warrior that can sorta keep up with all my buddies 4x4's
Any opinions or suggestions would be awesome!
