So I am doing the 4.0 swap w dash and my question is about the wiring. I don't have power windows & door locks on the Bronco2 so I am entry level in wiring and want to know, should I just leave the connectors and splice the necessary wires, or remove all the wiring for the accessories I do not have? The swap requires re routing the tail light/ reverse lights etc into the engine compartment and splicing them there, so hopefully someone who has done it can give me a little experienced help? Thanks for your time in advance.

I did a 94 exp 4.0 into my 88 bii. I kept the original dash and just made the correct connection at the drivers side firewall.. All the lights work as they did before the swap.. Only a few splices to make.

I wouldn't bother removing the extra wires unless you're going for a clean engine bay. There really aren't many you can take out anyway.
