Hey all after going to Menards and buying their 4lbs dead blow I finally got my driver side spindle off. The dust shield behing the spindle was rusted and Im not sure it can be salvaged. Do I really need to reinstall these?? I was able to clean up the one on the passenger side and coat it with some paint but havent reassembled the axle yet. What do you guys think. LMC truck wants $50 a piece which I think is craziness. If I do need them where can i get them at a decent price. Thanks for the input. Ill post pics once my lift is completed.

I always take them off, all they do is trap mud between them and the rotor.
