Hello all, I am Rick and this is my 1988 2.9L Manual Bronco II. I have been working on it a lot lately and figured I would join the forums to learn what I don't already know. I have owned this for about a year and purchased it from the original owner(An old military buddy) who kept it in his barn for about 6 years.

Recent Work:
-Changed the Brake Booster (Myself)
-New Gas Tank/Fuel Pumps (Mechanic)
-A/C System completely replaced. (Myself)
-Aftermarket LED Headlights Installed (Myself)

Planned Work:
-2.5" Country Lift Kit

Issues:
Sometimes when I go to start her up, It can take a few seconds to really crank. This doesn't happen for the first startup of the day but rather later in the day after I have driven to several locations. I have had the electrical system checked at auto-zone and they say everything is tip top. I have also changed just about everything in the fuel system to include: injectors, fuel pumps, filter, gas tank. I have heard a few people say it could be the fuel pressure regulator but I am not sure?

Welcome! Nice Bronco II! Is that silver with red/blue stripes? Looks like it fits in to the theme of this site.

I'm in Roanoke Texas. Not far from Texas Motor Speedway.

Yeah, blue and red stripes down the side. Are there any ranger meets in Dallas that you know of?

I’m new as well to the site I am in oak cliff I just purchased an 83 ranger 4x4 as a project truck. I really like the stripes on the side. Maybe we could meet up and start a meet if we find more people to join.
