I figured it was about time to start one of these before I got to far into modding it.

My first vehicle was a 1998 Grand Cherokee with the 5.9 that I wrecked doing donuts in the snow :bawling: My parents decided that instead of fixing the Jeep that they would just buy me a new truck as an early graduation present. Yes, they bought it for me, I pay for everything else that gets done to it.

What I got was a 2003 Ranger Edge with the 3.0 and 5-speed with 42k on it, from Cali, so it is rust free :yahoo:

Here it is a couple days after we brought it home.

First mod was removing the air silencer and throttle cable mod, but most of you guys know what that looks like, so I didn't take pics.

Tinted windows (20%)

Painted the grille

'06 Tails

By far my favorite picture

Let me know what you guys think. There is defiantly more to come.

I am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place with this one. It is 2wd but since it is an Edge it has the 4wd suspension, so I can't lower it, but I don't want to lift it cause personally I hate lifted 2wd trucks, I think they are pointless.

I think I am just gonna do little exterior mods and some engine stuff and see what happens from there.

I was the same way, hated lifted 2wd trucks.

but now...

I have 31" mud tires and a 3 inch lift waiting at home thats going on next week....:icon_bounceblue:

you'll just get an itch one day and start doing stuff to it. Try doing some custom interior painting. Maybe red to match the edge logo on the side. Get a sound system. Custom LED lighting around the inside. there are endless possabilities.

I miss my Jeep though :( it was a good vehicle and did everything I asked of it.

Forgot to mention those Edge stickers are long gone.

Nice truck man, please dont wreck it LOL

since u dont want to lift it(shame) and cant lower it(thank God) do some interior mods , like painting some pieces or building a kick ass sound system.

I was planning on doing some kinda sound system upgrades. Maybe a box that takes up like the back with some subs in it or something.

Painted headlights are on the to do list. Although I don't know if I should just buy the headlights and corners already painted from ebay or just do it myself and risk messing it up.

well you have 2 options

1. do it to the stock ones and hope it turns out right. if it works, sweet. saved some money. if it doesnt work buy some already made.

2. dont try to do it yourself. buy ones already made. and have an extra set of head lights "just in case."

if its worth anything, i like option 2.

Edit: corners are easy to hit with some of the nightshade in a can stuff. you have to try to mess that up.
