So for the past two days I have been searching the web and here for some sort of description for a couple relay bases I found wired into the truck. I had taken my dash apart to see whether or not I had a CEL installed from factory (in my other thread) and came across a brown relay base that was taped down to the wire harness which lays directly behind the gauge cluster. I pulled the speedometer cable off the gaues and when I pulled the cluster out from the dash, there it was. I plugged a relay I had laying around into it and I could hear it click on and off with the ignition but could not tell that it did anything. Also, once you remove the metal fuse box cover below the steering column, to the far right hand side of the opening is another brown relay base. This one, when having a relay plugged into it, will keep the radio on the entire time? If anyone knows about these plugs, could you please advise because having them there and not knowing what they are for is driving me crazy haha. Thank you in advance.
