I never actually tried the SOHC pan in the TTB cross member though. I know some guys just shim the motor up .5" or so and it clears from what I hear.

I'm hoping to get mine (HWW) done by the 4th of july if not sooner. It's been a while since I've been on the trails...

Made a little progress...

Burned out a flange for the new exhuast out of .5" plate. Still np ETA on the block though.

Also got the track bar whacked off....then I changed gears and started the OneFiddy 5 speed swap.

Also elimnated the fire hazard insulation on the HVAC plenum....pulled the old stuff off and bent up some aluminum to replace it.

Seals for the SOHC oil pan showed up too

Started toying with the idea of adding some lubrication to the pushrod end of the rockers.

Using some 1/4" OD tube and sweat on fittings I built a manifold that will pull oil from around the rocker shaft mounting bolt and drip over the rocker end.

I ordered some sweat on banjo fittitings, but they only come in 3/16". I drilled them to 1/4" and sweat everything together with 430* silver solder.

I clamped an air hose on plugged the holes to test for leaks under water..

Still need to drill the orifice oils for each rocker, then I will clean the inside and cap the ends. I will need to turn the shank of the bolt down a touch to allow oil to flow into the banjo. I will also be adding support brackets on the other two bolts...

I am using a high volume oil pump, so I should have more than enough flow without giving up any oil pressure. I also plan to safety wire the fittings and tubes just incase something fatigues and breaks.

I need to do a little math to figure out what size holes to put over each rocker. Im thinking .0125" should be good. The oil may or or may not even make it into the socket though....but I suppose extra oil showering on the rockers cant hurt anything.lol
