I have a 98 Ranger xlt extended cab with the 60/40 bench seats. A while back while driving the "springs" that give your back support in the seat just popped off whatever held the system in place. I am assumeing that it is a large support frame of springs that was mounted to the outer frame of the seat back and whatever held it in place gave way. Is this something that can be fixed by me (I am a hady kind of person) or should I break down and take it somewhere? Or is this a non-fixable problem and time to buy a new seat. I figured I would ask before I took the seat back apart in case anyone has had this problem. Thanks!
