My 89 bii manufactured 6/89. Went to jyard to get a 4x4 hub out of a 10/89 i had forgot to bring my hub of reference. Figured they would be the same but the one from jyard is like 1/2 inch shorter and ring is diff shape. So does the jyard bii have a dana35?

Of you look at the upper ball joint the 28 has a ball joint with a nut on it and the 35 has a plain joint with a pinch bolt.

9/89 is the the switchover. Yes the B2's came with a D35 and M5od( I have one).
It is a myth that they came with the 4.0. Probably swapped in if it has it. It can be done very cleanly and done in a long weekend, with the right help. It is plug and play(kinda) with a 2nd gen B2.

The hybrid 28/35 were in 3.0 powered rangers.

I think I covered it all.

The articles I read said 3.0, it was in 4WOR or fourwheeler a few months ago. But it would make sense that they were in 4 bangers. But we are talkin bout B2's.

B2's came with the 2.8 or 2.9 in later years. There is a B2 rumors sticky that is always a good read.

FYI... 3.45 gears guarantees it has a d28 or hybrid. No true d35 had 3.45s.
