will our TRS accounts automatically transfer to the new site, or will we have to make a new account?

I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this.

vBulletin has new software out that I can get for $130.00 (until 10/30/09) since I already have a license. It will offer a lot more features than the standard forum. I will also (hopefully) add the feature for iPhones.

I know if I add a full forum there, members will be flipping back and forth between both forums. It would be nice if they could both work from the same database.

I think I might have some forums here for the fullsize, restructure a little and use the same forum for both sites. I don't know yet.

If I do add a seperate forum at BOT, I'll use this database and just delete the RBV posts and save the fullsize discussions we have now and the members.

For the most part.

The new software should add personal blogging, chat and a better members profile.

You might be in trouble.

I like photos of girls and trucks just like a lot of other guys here. My wife has a lingerie business, so I have access to lingerie that could be given away, or the option to give away online gift certificates.

Imagine the possibilities? Have a thread for girls to submit a photo with a RBV for a chance to win so much of free lingerie at the end of the year. I'm not saying we're going to do that. I'm just saying.

so let me see if i understand this part

if you make a seperate forum at BOT , you are gonna basically copy and paste this forum onto that one , wipe out all the RBV specific posts , and keep the general layout and add all the members , if so , that is badass
