5.0 conversion and 7.5 rear end with drum brakes. I lost all interest right there. WHY would you add power and not take the time to add stopping ability?

A. It was just built as a show truck
B. The stock brakes are not that bad. An '85 HO is hardly pushing huge numbers.

I swapped axles to get limited slip, the brakes were of no concern for me and I haul stuff and have a lot bigger tires.

Personally the center console thing, antennae and paint are the things I would want to change. Not a huge fan of the paint either, too bad they changed that from its SEMA days.
