hope you dont mind me takin you bumper design i think ill use a 2x6 or 2x10 and bolt it up to my truck untill i can afford to build my own

i know a big diesel that used to have a 12"x12" chunk of wood for its front bumper, totaled a womans car when she backed into him lol
There's actually a lifted dodge in the next town over that has a wood bumper.

Go for it. Just make sure you measure it out right, I ended up with my bolts JUST fitting.

only thing that come's to mind............well couple things actually, enviroment friendly( if it falls off, it goes back to nature) if you hit something(free firewood, good in the cold country, IMHO) if you're a redneck( give ya something to carve on when bored) but over all, nice concept an with some carving would be suited to the old woodies of the 60 an 70's era
