Nut size for gear shift lever

Hi-
So I am missing the nut that allows removal of the gear shift. The one that you move from one side to the other for installing and removing the bolt. Any chance anyone knows what size that is?

No clue, but you can try a brass drift and hammer to slide it out since you're missing the nut. Once out, you can get one from the hardware store.
