I am lowered, not bagged or juiced - static 3/4 drop. DJM in the front and axle flip in the rear. I had 17X9 Cobras in the front but they hit my shock mounts so back to the deer hooves - lol. Still running the 17X10 Cobras in the rear cause I think they look awesome. I wish I could find some narrow 17" Cobras to go up front . . .

Anyway here she is chillin at the lake in North Texas . . .

Static dropped 5/7 with DJM beams and springs upfront then a flip kit and blocks in the rear. Running 17s all around with no rubbing unless i hit a big bump. After market headlights, tail lights, corners, billet grill, and stereo.

Audio: Kenwood head unit, 10" Kicker comp VR, and JL components

Future plans: bagged laying frame, two 10" subs in the cab, tv in the passenger dash, paint, solid back window, headlights and corners and the list goes on

Wow, that's a nice truck. I enjoy seeing some of these just as I do the lifted ones.

why dont you weld your shock mounts closer inboard to be able to keep the rims?

Hmmmmmm - I haven't thought about that - I will have to look into it.

Has anyone done this before?

My only other option would be to get spacers.

Thanks for the idea . . .

My current project. 1992 standard cab. Gravity Werx front brackets with Slam RE7's up front. Rear parellel four link from SD with rear lift bars. Firestone 2600's on rear. Watts link to keep axle centered. 306ci, T-5, 3.73 limited slip rear. It's a project in the works, but it lays frame!

planning to shave the door handles and antenna and needs some paint work, hopefully next month.

Nice truck! I think the wheels put you a little higher off the ground than most trucks with a 3/4 drop though.
