What's the biggest tire that will fit on a stock 1999 Explorer (four door, AWD, stock rims) without rubbing?

Tech library doesn't have a list for Explorers.

i think you can fit 31x10.50r15s as long as you dont have wheel spacers or deep rims

i fit 32s under a stock 97 ranger but it rubbed cause it had stoopid wheel spacers... i miss that truck

I had a 99 4.0 4 door 4wd Explorer Eddie Bauer.
It had 255/75R16s and they rubbed the fenderliners when the steering was fully turned on pavement. Stock rims. I had not touched the T-Bar adjustments either, so it could have been raised to minimize the rubbing.

I don't recall what the door sticker specified for tire size.
