Has anyone attempted a unit bearing swap on a d35? Like using a 98-00 ranger Hun bearing assy. with manual hub conversion? I have custom bead locks and do not want to swap d44 knuckles.

Well, not that I have seen. I'm not sure what you could gain by going to a sealed unit that would get you the same results as a D44 knuckle swap.

It seems to me like the knuckle swap would be a lot less work too.

I consider serviceable bearings to be a perk over the $200 sealed hub assemblies...

Agreed.
The '98-'00 units are not particularly durable either.

What are you trying to gain? You having issues with the setup on your D35 now?
