hello all. im a newbie here. i have a 1993 ranger splash, 3.0 manual transmission. my baby has roughly 535,000 miles on the original engine. i have replaced the rear end once, two clutch sets and a few other things here and there.
the noise im having issues with seems to be coming from the rear of the engine around the firewall area. the sounds imitates Shemp off of the three stooges. lol you cant hear it at idle but when the rpm's go up boy is it loud. ive seen threads where the camshaft position sensor and sync are replaced, but also ive seen that my engine has a distributor on it and shouldnt have this sensor/sync ? any help is greatly appreciated. this sound is driving me crazy !:icon_confused:
