I was driving the other day. The bronco just shut off. Like I had turned the key off. Except I didn't.
We noticed the pump in the tank was not working. So, I replaced it with the sending unit and everything. Doesn't work.
We have power at the fuse. We also checked the relay, which appears to be in working order (we took it off and applied power and it clicked.) We can put a wire across the piece that plugs into the relay and both pumps click on. We can hear fuel in the lines that run up to the motor.
We have sprayed a bit of gas into the intake and it will run, but only until that fuel is burned up. I don't have any idea what the problem could be. Any ideas?
