Are they anything special, would normal grade 8 work?

As long as the flywheel has dowels to center/locate the pressure plate then grade 8 bolts would be fine.

If there are no dowels, I'd recommend using ARP pressure plate bolts with the short smooth shoulder for centering. (I had to go this route on my 302)

I don't think the flywheel has dowels, I was going thru stuff last night and noticed I didn't get any bolts with the clutch kit. I doubt my 4.2 stuff originally with the trans will be right.

I see the Ford Perfomance bolt/dowel kit for 85-95 Mustangs but I don't know what all crosses over between a T5 and a M5OD and a car and truck clutch.

The ones I used are actually some GM application. I have a Luk flywheel with the pattern for both the 10" and 11" cover

The flywheel used 8mm bolts where as the OEM would have been 5/16

The ARP bolts have a slight shoulder to center up the cover

No dowels, standard threads. Clutch is a Luk just like yours.

Your screenshots are a goldmine, thanks!
