Bronco 2 xlt project The rebirth of a bronco2xlt Updated New pictures

Hey everyone names Joe. I am about to start a bronco project. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: Ok lets Go..
Bronco details are

1990 bronco 2 xlt
A4ld Transmission
BW1350 Transfer case


I'm confused :icon_confused:on the front Dana and Rear Dana dont know much on the difference. Some help on the difference would be great. will post pics .

On my sticker on the door the date says 11/89 but my title says 90

Will be ordering a lot of stuff soon. will have list online soon. Doing a 2-4 inch lift

Need some help on my axles and transfer case and transmission want to make sure im correct on model Will post pics for help on identifying Be back soon With pics.
admin or mod could you put this in the right place on forum for starting a project thought this would be a good place to start a thread/post.:icon_confused:

This post will include a lot of photos of progress and whatever of my bronco project:headbang: I guess this is the beginning of the bronco journey hope you all stay tuned for everything that will go on with this project.

Your links don't work...

If after 11/89, it is a 90 model. Should have a 1354 t case and a Dana 35 front end. It will have a 7.5 rear.

Just so i can figure it out for a better project build log i guess you would call it. Just some pictures for now till the goodies Get here. And need to go to the store.

And the Exhaust pipe just broke to o well time for dual exhaust!
















Alot of Surface rust, and rust rust rust rust... i need to take off will be happening when the snow melts

Yeah i will take better pictures soon. We just got another 2-4 inches of snow.

Will remove the transmission and transfer case soon or today so i can take better picture For everyone. sorry about the crappy Pictures.

Typically vehicles for new model years start production in Aug of the preceding year. haven't you ever noticed that new cars come out in the fall??

The pics are fine. It looks like you have a D35, if you have a fixed yoke on the front of your t case then its a 1354. If its a slip yoke its a 1350.

sweet looking rig. I want nothing more in this world than to find a reasonably clean B2. I'll make it run, just need a clean body.:D

Back to your original post.....the rear dana35 is used in jeeps, I don't think ford ever used them. The front dana35 is what's called a twin-traction beam (TTB), which is what it looks like you have.
