back to power brakes

I cant get the brakes to hold the truck to get it to stall up very high without it pushing the truck pass the light at the track. I'm going to put the power brakes back on the truck. I'm going to have to run a electric vacuum pump so the power brakes work because the camshaft is too big. hoping to get it to run low 11s in the 1/4 mile. wish me luck lol

Drum brakes hold against torque much better than disc brakes

You can raise the brake pedal pivot point, or lower the master and pedals master push rod to give you more leverage, so more pressure at the brake calipers/slaves

Smaller master piston has longer travel but can generate more pressure

so I went to the junk yard and pulled a brake line off it was on one without that brake box just like my truck so I was thinking it would screw in and its a different size. why can ford leave stuff the same size.

its on but the power brakes still does not

its on but the power brakes still does not work. I have a vacuum canister coming the pump says it did not need it but I guess it does. guess I just wait and see.

I had to add a can to get the brakes to work right not sure if I could have just added the can or not.
