Can anyone tell me where the hell my EGR valve is on my 2008 Ranger 2.3 Duratech engine? WTF?????

Back of the head. Have fun taking the trans out to replace the EGR valve.

You don't actually have to remove the trans, but you do have to take the crossmember out and let it hang pretty low to get at the bolts for the EGR valve.

And if you do need to do this there is a coolant connection back there that can leak, not sure if you can get to it with transmission in place but if you can I would replace it just because...........

Oh yeah, speaking of coolant, you need to drain the cooling system to do the EGR valve.
