Fuel pressure regulator leaking gas

87 Ranger v-6

fuel is leaking into brake booster vacuum line.

How does the input line come off the regulator?

Will a new fpr solve the problem or could it be something else?

It's the RETURN line that comes off the regulator. Which means it isn't under pressure.

Believe it or not, replacement regulators for 2.9Ls often come with barbs and hose clamps. You CUT the old one off.

Yes, if the FPR is blown, replacing it will fix that.
