01 only blows Low and Hi

The blower switch has 4 positions.
Mine only blows on the LOW and the HI.
Does not blow on the middle 2 positions... Help?:icon_confused:

Post me a link to another thread with the info or point me in the right direction...
switch, resistor or something somewhere else??:dunno:

SPOT ON!!
O'Reilly's had it in stock for under $20!
Pulled everything off just like your write up and it made it so easy!

It was more than the resistor. The wiring harness was melted and burned along with a wire unattached. The resistor was rotted and stuck/melted to the harness. Took a lot of work to cut and break apart the plastic to get it all down to wires.

I wrote the colors of the wires and where they went and then commenced to a repair... once I did the new insulated female wire connectors with shrink tubing I wrapped the whole thing with electrical tape to seal out the elements!
