Just thought I would share a fix. My newly-acquired 1986 B2, after a lot of rain, developed a small very wet spot behind the passenger seat. I was dumbfounded, thinking leaks can arise from anywhere and this would be hard to track down.

I asked my 15 year old son to study the issue and he figured it out right away! There was water dripping down from both ends of the long metal bracket that spans the top side of the vehicle interior, and helps hold the headliner up. I removed that bracket by removing the two screws holding down the hand grip, then the other screws on each end, and pulling that metal piece down to find it was wet. Water must have been leaking in through the window seal on the top of the roof. I dried it out really well then applied some silicon windshield repair (Permatex) on the exterior. That fixed the leak.
