I've heard/seen conflicting reports on these pipes. For example Rock Auto (and other places) says they're 409 stainless, some people online have said they are actually aluminized. 409 stainless does rust eventually but won't rot out like regular steel and I'm wondering if that's where the confusion is coming from. Does anyone know for sure?
