hello everybody *

the urge take you one morning to work on your truck.
Therefore decided to place the order at RockAuto and I order my 2 "
A few days after I receive my order

Skyjacker coil spring 132
Skyjacker add a Leaf, Rear R225
Shock Absorber Rancho RS 5000
front 5039
rear 5185
Shackle

I think do a good job material is good quality I am happy
I start with the rear I go up the leaf, Shackle and Shock Absorber, the truck is mounted.
I go to the front and I think there be a problem with coil spring is greater than Shock Absorber.:icon_confused:

I phone with a friend to RockAuto
RockAuto " said " no problem.
coil spring is longer than the shock absorber is normal the coil spring will be compressed when I lift the front axle

he said take iron bar to to lower as much as possible the front axle
Put the spring
and then lift up underneath with a jack to compress the spring
I have not already done it for fear of taking the spring in the head.
the question I ask myself is if I can compress the spring safely

Someone you it has encountered a similar problem
Your help and your explanations are required please

Thank you very much

*Sorry for my bad ENGLISH

you have to take the top nut off the shock and I always stand on the hub with one foot to get the spring out then you have to stand on it when you put the spring in then put a jack under the spring bolt and jack the axle into place and reinstall the shock.
