so I happend to run across a merkur in the junkyard, and i wanna do the intake swap.

So my questions are how would getting the throttle cables work out, its a different set-up but i think its just a matter of shortening my throttle cables and putting the correct size ball to pull the throttle linkage.

Next is what else beside the upper intake do I need, I read something about the thermostat housing.

I think that the swap would be well worth the extra air, and dual intake set-up.

Extra air?

The Merkur setup is good for a whopping 4hp and you have to rev
another 200rpm to get that 4hp.
As well as another 200rpm to get your peak torque.

Frankly it's hardly worth the aggrevation.
