Hello all,
Wanted to know if it was possible to swap my A4LD in my 1990 Ranger 4.0L, to a 4R55E or 5R55E? I've already had the A4LD rebuilt once, and it would seem it will need it again fairly soon. Sounds like the 4R55E and 5R55E are tougher in general and would last longer. I looked a little bit through the threads, but didn't see anything about this....could've missed it though. Thank you for your time.
