Has anyone made a compartment, or found a good use for the space where the passenger airbag would be? My truck came without an airbag there, and I'm trying to find a good use for the space

There is another thread on this but for the earlier style cabs.

I'm working on doing something with the 96 dash airbag space also...and was contemplating making up a liner to go inside the hole first so that things don't fall out...and maybe putting a latch and hinges on the cover door so it can be hidden from prying eyes...

I made a thread on this exact thing a few years back and we threw around ideas but honestly there isn't much space there and like Mark_88 said it would mostly be for hiding things. I've recently played with the idea of making it a fold out table sorta thing so the wife has somewhere to put stuff down on, either doing her makeup or just a burger and fries if we're on the run.
