i can put up pics tomorrow, but i finally at least found the name of my problem.

i have an 81 f250 4x4 manual with a new clutch. there are more issues but here is problem right now.
i ordered a kit from lmc that has new clutch equalizer bar and all associated bushings, clips, rods, etc.

so, the engine side z bar pivot is a round cylindrical nub that the plastic bushing goes on like its supposed to.

the frame side z bar pivot is a ball, not a cylindrical nub. and it is worn very bad, not much of a round ball anymore.

all info i can find online shows its not supposed to be a ball, but a nub.
i found a replacement frame side bracket, with a ball. but i cant find the bushing that goes with it.

im hoping to hear from someone with experience how i should go about this repair.

im wondering if its possible to remove the worn ball, and replace it with just a stud with correct nub that fits bushing.

this is what i found for new bracket:

any assistance is appreciated.
