Pressed keyfob & Door Locks started cycling repeatedly, had to pull Neg Batt Cable
Hi All
99 Explorer.
I pressed the Key Fob Button to unlock and the lock motors started cycling.
Funny thing was that the lock knobs stayed down in the lock position, they were not actually moving up and down but the motors were cycling.
I put the key in the lock to unlock it and the knob came up but the motor pulled it back down to the lock position.
I had to hold the key over to the unlock in order to open the door.
I finally pulled the Negative Battery Cable to get them to stop.
Waited a few seconds then reconnected the cable and they started up again.
Left the battery disconnected for now.
Anyone run into this before?
Thanks in advance.
Bill
