I hate to be a Dumb ass but I just put a fuel pump on my truck. It still has no fuel pressure. I can hear the pump running. I unhooked the fuel line, at the filter, on the pump side, nothing coming out. I even jumped the relay and no fuel. I took the new pump off and checked the wires, with the relay jumped it has 12 volts at the plug. I hooked up the ohm meter and the ground wire has continuity. I am heading back to autozone to get a different pump. I thought I would ask first if I missed something. I think the pump must be bad if nothing is coming out but it is running. There is about 1/2 a tank of gas. Any ideas?

Clogged line from the pump?

Take the pump out and test it inside a bucket with fuel, connect the wires directly to the battery.

ok I did not try that.I heading out there to install the replacement pump. I will see what happens.

EDIT
Line not clogged and replacement pump works great, I guess it was bad. I now have a couple of different codes 116, 211, 542... Great not sure but there seems to be an never ending reason why the truck will not start.I'm not sure why the hell I keep getting different codes, I think the truck is stringing me along.

Have you checked the inertia switch?, it is a red button on the passenger side footwell.
