Hey guys I have a 1984 Bronco II it has a 2.8 with the C5 Automatic. About two weeks ago the battery went dead and my wife attempted to use a jump pack to start it. She hooked it up back wards and now I can't get the thing over 20 MPH without running 4K RPMs. It will shift but it seems like it just has no power. Has plenty of fluid and the engine runs fine. I'm just clueless as to what could have went bad that would affect the transmission. Any ideas???!! I really like my Bronco II and want to continue driving it.
