Really? The company with the sticky gas pedals is going to pick on Ford? Disgusting....
Oh?.....And don't forget how many recalls Ford has had on..... gas tanks exploding, SUV's rolling and loosing wheels and cars and trucks burning down homes with cruise control issues????? Ford sucks as much as does any other vehicle for recalls.....

It's as funny as any jeep commercial, how many of you have seen a stock jeep stuck cause they tried to pretend they where in the commercial. Or the goodyear commercial with a wrangler sitting on full linked d60's? I give a buddy of mine shit every time I see an fj40 on tv, "look bro its a one of dem jeeps on tv again!".
All the companies do it in one way or another, just part of the game.

Haaaa..but wait!!! I have friends who got all of their stock 4x4 Rangers stuck right after they bought them brand new....why??....'cause stock crap tires won't go through thick mud, deep sand and a marsh....people watch way too many commercials and then try it out....lol

Yea I'm kinda with him on this. Plus I suppose there's no harm in poking fun since the ranger platform is no longer being made. You could see it as, their beloved ranger blew up and they just want a new truck but if you don't want to spend lotsa money get a Toyota. Low hanging fruit since ford can't really respond now that they only have full size trucks.
Toyotas are expensive though compared to what the Ranger cost.

And the Ranger isn't completely gone, I've heard that they only discontinued it in the states but it will still be manufactured overseas.

I know all manufacturers have their flaws. I was just pointing out how tacky the ads were.

Funny they pick on Ford in this video using a FORD TOW TRUCK. You know why that tow truck wasn't a Toyota?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjVnNUNvB_A
WOW. :shok: That has worse rust problems than my 76' Chevy Nova. And the Nova has been driven in the winter at up state New York with their salt.

I hope Ford would revive the Ranger as a more modern truck. Thou I currently don't see that happening anytime soon. If my Ranger is every KIA, I'm buying another Ranger.

All ads are tacky, Bro. I only like animal commercials. I hate watching sports or car and truck ads...they all suck.....lol

They are trying to get Ranger owners over to them now that the Ranger is gone. They see us as their new market base. I'll keep fixing my Ranger, thanks!
I am keeping my 87 for as long as she hold together.
So far she is going strong at 25 years old :icon_thumby:

It looks like an late 80's fullsize. Toyota Did not even offer a fullsize pickup back then.

Looks like a ranger to me, the tail lights dont look like t100 ones. The t100's lights have a big white section on the top, but the one in the pick has a small white spot on the bottom.

T100
