Can anyone recommend a good drop-in antenna with a signal booster. I am trying to get my stock radio reception to work a little better. I have a 97 Ranger BTW.

the only way to increase your quality of single is be closer to the source or have a better quality fm tuner.

FM which stands for frec modulation uses a range of frecs to create a 1 and 0 type digital code. your antenna can pick up both fm singles or you wouldnt hear any thing but fuzz.

now if your to far away. it has limits the modulation can break down giving you a crapy signal.

or the fm mod in your hu is not the best and cant read the modulation very well and gives you crappy sound.

boosting it will only help in sending signal not getting
