I was looking to buy one of those engines several years ago, it was set-up as an auxiliary power unit for aircraft.

One that had been run too long and had damaged the generator, but the engine still worked.


at the time I had a generator set available that had been powered by a IH diesel
with a dead engine... it would have been noisy as hell, but the idea of it generating 40KW of electrical power while at the same time heating my house...

It would have been great at burning up kerosene....
