All my life I have wanted either a Ranger Edge or Splash. While looking for a full size I stumbled on to an ad for a 2002 Edge 4.0 2wd ext cab automatic. As soon. As I saw I was a stepside I knew I had to have it. Newer Goodyear wranglers on it. Had a slight misfire when I bought it found a broken plug wire, put on a new one and works perfect. First 4.0 I've ever driven. Way more power then I thought it would have. Best $800 I've ever spent.

Welcome. There are plenty of mods you can do to your truck and plenty of advice on here. If you think the 4.0 has power. Try putting a 5.0 in it. :headbang:

I mean more power than I thought it would have. It does have a limited slip in it. Maybe welded rear. But how hard would it be to swap a 5.0 into It?

Thanks! One question about wheels. I have a set of 16" mustang wheels. I know the bolt pattern is the same. Would they work on the ranger? The steel wheels look like crap. And I already have these. I think they are made in Italy.

They should fit with no problem. The offset and backspacing are close.
