I ran across this picture of a custom Bronco II. I don't know if it's one everyone has seen. I had never seen it and I think it's cool looking.

Hard not to respect the craftsmanship, but a lowered 4x4 is like a case of herpes, you know it exists but youre happier knowing you dont have it, and you damn sure wouldnt spend your time looking at one if you could help it.

True, but all b2s have a transfercase or a dummy case whitch makes building either one easier with more availability of parts

Which is like saying there are poor handling cars out there, so making them handle more poorly is acceptable. Case and point.

Da-fug? 1) not 4x4 as has been mentioned 2) you need to go talk to your GF about that case of herpes

If a slammed BII were a case of herpes, I wanna know which whore house I need to visit.

The fact that they have the frame cross members of a 4x4 truck, and a lot of stuff that hangs below the frame, make getting that low a work of art that is rarely seen. It's just unfortunate that he happened upon one of the worst examples of it. Without that front end swap they look really sweet.

What exactly are you trying to say?

Little off there ain't ya. 2wd BII is a poor handling SUV, that's not great on the street or off road in stock form. Slamming it to the ground may have made it worse off road, but made it handle much, much better on road.

The example that you provide is just stupid. As adsm said those cars handle perfectly fine in stock (maintained) form, and can be made better. The one you posted is a perfect example of what's wrong with the system. In my area that car is built by someone that does not work and lives off GVT aid. They sell the food stamps that they get for their 5 children to pay for a down payment on those rims and an M&M, Skittles, or Dora paint job on their clapped out hooptie, which is later repossessed because they don't pay for the rims. Then the shit happens all over again.

Someone didn't do their homework before responding... '90 2wd BIIs did not come from the factory with a dummy transfer case. They came with regular 2wd transmissions except the output shaft was drilled and tapped. They had a yoke that slide onto the output shaft splines and bolted through the center. The slip joint was in the driveshaft.

That was the ugliest POS I've ever seen. But then I despise all lowered vehicles. The 2 tone paint job didn't come off well either.

I don't like the Bronco II lowered and the door handles removed. The thing I liked about it was the grille. With the shape of the Bronco II front there are so many options.

That is truly a "scraper" Looks unique but any true blue B2 owner would be kinda pissed over getting stuck on a speed bump.

I like it.

I think they went old school on the dash.

I could see having a lowered pickup for in town driving. Sometimes it sucks climbing up in your truck.

I like the green.

It is neat to see how people do different things with vehicles. Different people are into different things, if he/she is having a good time with it that is all that matters.

I wouldn't own it ever, I would like to look it over and see how they did what when they built it. I can appreciate that a job well done.

If they are decent to talk to all the better. :D
