I accidentally overfilled my coolant reservoir after installing my radiator. Any ideas on how to get it down without loosing the coolant?

Cotton string and the empty jug. Dunk the string, hang it over the edge of the reservoir and into the jug. The capillary action will move up the string, over the edge and into the jug. Turkey baster is faster but the wife might catch you! Been there, Done that. It was not pretty and I have been banned from using any kitchen utensils.

I have my own kitchen utensils for use in the garage. I have some surgical implements too.

Ohhh, baby! Believe me, I've tried to convince The Wife that garage use won't hurt anything but she doesn't agree. Never could lie worth a Damn so I get caught every time.

Haha, y'all are having too much fun! I'm going to buy a large eye dropper, that picks up about half a cup with each squeeze and take the time to empty it that way.

Thanks for the replies!

Actually, I bought one of those squeeze bulbs (primer bulb) that used to be used on boat motor fuel tanks. Works great for things like that.
