I would say yeah it would... just take her slow and you should probably have someone following you guys just so you don't get rear-ended by some douche.

the grey-t escape
i flat-towed a automatic taurus about 10 miles with no trans damage, kept speed under 30 mph. also flat towed a astro van about 7 miles, with it i went about 40-50 mph didnt hurt the trans. let the "dead" vehicle do the braking.its better to have a trailer or tow dolly, but thats not always available. years and years ago i pulled a dead front-drive g.m with a jeep about 50 miles, that did indeed have trans damage afterwards, but it was mainly due to it getting dark on us and i had to hurry, cant recall specific details, but it was way to fast and way too much distance to go. should have parked it halfway for the night and finished it up the next day.

Yes, for 10 miles not a problem, use low gear and keep the speed down, safety and strain on the truck. I flat towed a 1997 Suburban 2500 series (the big one) with the boss riding the brakes for nearly 3 miles. Did not bother the truck at all, again I kept it in low gear.
