2 problems guys: detached the transfer case linkage about 8 years ago when I did a 2" body lift and don't remember how it connects anymore, does anyone have a picture?!! I've searched all over the Internet and can't find anything.

Second, when I installed said body lift, there was no extension provided for the shifter linkage, which is why it was detached in the first place. It doesn't reach! How is everyone fixing this? :dunno:

87 that worked...the whole issue is I'm missing the piece that engages the shifter arm on the transfer case. I have the grommet and not hat bracket. Anyone know where the hell I'd find one of those?

Truck has been in storage for 12 years and has been trailered to 3 different states, must have fallen out. Great. :pissedoff:

That is where I found the ones for my C5, and they are a lot fewer and farther between that stuff for a 1354 hung on a M5OD or A4LD.

For the shifter extension I cut the shaft off of an old tractor starter motor armature (any shaft the same dia as the lever would work) and welded to a piece of pipe. Then I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 hole in it and used a short bolt for a setscrew to lock it down on the stock lever. Been working for 9 years.

87 thanks again for your help, now I just have to figure out how to lengthen that linkage to compensate for the 2" body lift so it reaches the transfer case again. And so the shifter isn't sucked down into the floor/boot like it is. One step forward, one step back heheheheh.
