The other day my 302 blew up so I got on craigslist and found an 02 ranger. I went and picked it up for 350 dollars. Its a 2.3 automatic single cab short bed. It use to be a pool company truck with 168 thousand miles on it. Besides the bed rear frame and bumper being rotted out its a good little truck. I just finished welding up the frame and fish plating it. My buddy gave me a bed tail gate and bumper for 50 bucks. The springs were in the bed when I drove it home 50 miles lol. pulled in the driveway and the bumper fell off along with the tail gate. Only the back 17 inches were rotted out but for 350 I couldnt beat it.

Yeah it was his pool truck. He parked it for 6 months because it scared him and hes moving now so he sold it for almost nothing. I could scrap it and make money on it. But I will drive it till I finish rebuilding my 302

It had a thick plastic bed liner in it. The front and back of the bed where gone only the middle bolts were holding it on. It was in rough shape but now its all ready to go. Just need to put the bed on it and drive it till I rebuild my 302.
