I recently picked up a 99 ranger 2wd and its less than perfect. My main concern initially is that, when hitting the throttle after being completely off of it, the entire truck will lurch/buck forward.

This week I drove about 650 miles round trip and had some shaking on the highway. When I was at my destination I took it to a shop and had them balance the tires and align it (wheel wasn't straight, pulled a little.) I mentioned the lurching and had them check the rest of the vehicle over. They mentioned the passenger mount had a little play, but I couldn't tell if he was just humoring me because he forgot i asked them to check, or if they actually did check it out. regardless, it drives a little smoother and doesn't pull as much, but still shakes.

So here's the weird part: it shakes, but not all the time. I can't tell if its on slanted roads or uphill, but it seems to do it intermittently at any speed from 35-75. It will come and go.
I'm thinking motor or trans mount but I'm not entirely sure.

TL;DR: Truck lurches hard when stabbing the throttle, shakes on and off anywhere between 35-70
