I would suspect the reason no one has answered is because they have no answer for you. Even tho I'm a mod I have a limited knowledge base and a 302 swap isn't one of them. I suspect there are few people that have actual knowledge. Hopefully this answer will bump the question and someone with more knowledge will answer.

I honestly never look there.

If you are on a tight timeline you are probably best off to take it to a shop where people are paid to figure this stuff out rather than look at in their free time.

My credo
If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
Only 2 of those questions I'd consider common. BUT, I did reply.

Not to discourage you from being a member, but it gets on a lot of people nerves when a question is asked and they don't get an answer right away. None of us are paid to be here, and only come here of our own free will. It comes across as if we owe you (or whoever is posting about the lack of replies) an answer, and the reality is, we don't.

I've avoided a number of questions before because it's apparent they haven't even done a basic Google search. If it looks as if they've done some legwork themselves, I'll chime in.

Sometimes, you're just stuck on your own. Each swap is unique in varying ways. This driveshaft thing seems kinda specific to your rig.

I get what you're saying and dont necessarily disagree. I participate in numerous forums and generally have the same attitude. That being said, my comment was more along the lines of surprise at the lack of responses compared to what I remembered from when I last posted three years ago

As mentioned before most of us have 4x4s and the set up is various depending on what you want. TRS is a great help, but we don't know every situation and answer. I,ve had to look on more than one site to find answers before too. It looks like you got a few answers too. I,m guessing you may have to try that too. Headers are dependent on clearance and length needed. Driveshafts too. You may have to have one made. Take your measurements and call around. Radiators depend on clearance too. Most use the Explorer because they work well and fit best. You may want to check Elutheros build. He started from scratch with his Ranger 5.0 swap. Hope this helps.

There are a lot of people who have gone MIA in the last three years, and taken a lot of knowledge with them.
