I am replacing a timing belt, mine broke.I have the old one off and am ready to install the new one.I know the cam timing mark is on the plastic belt cover, but am not sure where to set it. the manual says to set it to TC on the compresson stroke...but the spec sheet indicates the timing is 10 degrees BTC. does anyone know for sure where to set it ?
Thanks Bob

ignition timing is 10 degrees. this is different than cam timing. #1 should be at TDC on its compression stroke when you install the belt.
